
As you may have noticed over the years, Podere Pendolino offers an incredible number of charming spots for your ceremony. Today, we focus on a very special moment: the cake cutting.
You will find dedicated areas, beautifully lit with candles, spacious enough to welcome the couple and guests around. These spots are caressed by our trees, nestled in the English lawn, or warmed by the ancient stones of our estate.
The garden is meticulously maintained daily, ensuring it’s pleasant even for guests wearing high heels. Walking on our lawn should always be comfortable and relaxing, even at night when guests move to the dance area or the special cake-cutting moment.
Speaking of cake, from our in-house pastry lab at Albatros Ristorazione, we share some valuable tips for couples:
- The cake-cutting area will be well-lit by candles, visible, and spacious enough to gather all guests around. Almost any cake can be recreated: just show a photo, and our pastry chefs will craft your dream creation.
- Choose between a multi-tiered pyramid cake, a flat hat-shaped cake (usually three tiers on a round base), or a single-tier cake with an extravagant shape!
- The right moment for cake cutting is at the end of the served dinner, but fireworks should come after the cut to crown the party’s peak. Follow it with the couple’s toast and the start of dancing to capture the joy and start the celebration right.
- Among the favorites is the Millefoglie cake, even single-tier, large with a lavish cascade of summer fruit, perfect for the season. Beautiful, delicious, and spectacular — it has it all.
- As mentioned, creativity knows no limits: style and colors should always connect with the event’s theme.
