Agritourism, Endless Emotions…
Agritourism is, above all, emotion.
Henri Grolleau, the founding father of agritourism, wrote in his important 1987 study, “Le tourism rural dans le douze Etats membres de la Communauté économique européenne”:
“Agritourism is what people seek: simple emotions in a simple world made of simple things. A search for genuine emotions. For people who have lost contact with nature, for whom the rural world represents a new exoticism, a supreme luxury—the luxury of simple things.”
At Podere Pendolino, we love to embody the spirit of the agritourism pioneers. That’s why we dedicate ourselves to your wishes, dear tourists, respecting the environment that welcomes you, tending as “farmers” to our small rural activities such as caring for olive trees, vegetable gardens, and flowers.
We have taken great care in restoring and furnishing our spaces, faithfully reproducing the rustic Tuscan spirit. You will find the same spirit in our dishes—always fresh and creative but deeply rooted in traditional recipes passed down from mother to daughter.
Everything is highly personalized, bearing the imprint of our love and hard work.
