- If you have many guests and a large event, calculate the timing carefully and start thinking about it a year in advance.
- The date is always the most difficult aspect: the summer vacation months of July and August don’t include many Saturdays, obviously, so those with strict deadlines should book their event well in advance. However, weddings are mostly spread out across the months from spring to early autumn, with a busy 6-7 months of warm weather: we’re referring to our provinces of Arezzo, Siena, Florence, and partially Grosseto. Winter weddings are on the rise: between autumn colors and the Christmas holidays, charm is guaranteed, but the outdoors less so.
*The first things to decide are the church or town hall for the ceremony; recently, we’ve celebrated many civil ceremonies in private locations as well. A location that offers these options makes the job easier.
*The location is another important piece of the puzzle: we recommend a maximum distance of 30 minutes between the church and the venue.
*When choosing a venue, make sure it has large outdoor spaces (aperitif, dinner, and after-dinner) and indoor spaces in case of inclement weather, unfortunately.
