Dear friends, this is how we like to bid you farewell as summer draws to a close. Smiles, toasts, dancing, singing, and hugs it all comes flooding back to our eyes, minds, and hearts. We shared some truly wonderful, sun-drenched moments together; the lawn at Podere Pendolino offered a welcome respite for everyone whether in the morning or at sunset, after the evening’s festivities. During the day, you found cool comfort within the Podere’s ancient stone walls, which shield us from both winter’s chill and summer’s heat. Amidst the current whirlwind of activity, we are managing numerous events and planning for autumn scheduling meetings, menu tastings, and supplier selections. We look forward to sharing our autumn preparations with you as we await the season’s harvest, and we are already crafting our autumn-winter menu featuring figs, grapes, and mushrooms, followed by pumpkins and seasonal game. Yet, we anticipate plenty of warm, mild days ahead that will allow us to continue enjoying the outdoors. Stay tuned for more stories as autumn arrives.
